INDIANAPOLIS -- Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET) announced today that it will be hosting a series of recruiting sessions in the Houston Metro area as part of its announced plans to grow its flight attendant workforce by more than 350.

Republic Airway's Chautauqua Airlines subsidiary will have major operations at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport when it begins its partnership with Continental Airlines on January 8, 2007. Chautauqua Airlines will operate 44, fifty-seat regional jets as Continental Express.

Open house recruiting sessions will be held December 5th and 6th and December 12th and 13th beginning promptly at 10:00 am, 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Tuesday and 10:00 am and 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Wednesday at The Marriott Hotel at Greenspoint located at 255 N. Sam Houston Parkway East also known as Beltway 8 . Please note the doors to all recruiting sessions will close promptly at the beginning of the session.

The three Republic-owned airlines operate a series of flight attendant crew bases at Indianapolis, Louisville, Buffalo, Greensboro, St. Louis, New York LaGuardia, Columbus, Richmond, Chicago O'Hare, Washington Reagan National Airport, Pittsburgh, and Orlando. New hire flight attendants must be willing to relocate initially to any of these bases, but if eligible, can bid for openings at a preferred base. The company works with flight attendants to help them secure their preferred base as quickly as possible.
