Temporary HELP SERVICES on the Rise.

The American Staffing Association (staffingtoday.net) reports that 90 percent of companies currently use temporary-help services. This number has increased an average of 11 percent per year over the past five years, much of which can be attributed to the Internet. The Internet creates a venue

where jobs are more easily filled, and also provides a resource for career development and planning. Plus, the Internet connects people to jobs that offer the flexibility they seek.

Those searching for jobs, whether temporary or permanent, can easily conduct their search on the Internet, making the process less daunting and more efficient. They can also be more selective in their job search.

Answering that call, Utah employers are creating more tailored work environments and providing increased opportunities for flextime and telecommuting.

Websites like Staffingtoday.net and Kelleyservices.com not only provide employment information, but offer valuable services such as salary surveys and book reviews on career planning. Such sites also often provide outsource-managed services for training, human resources, benefits and payroll.
