Deloitte Consulting changes name. (News).

Deloitte Consulting, which earlier this year separated from Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, is changing its name to Braxton. The name is drawn from a trademark the firm has owned since 1984 when it acquired the international management consulting firm, Braxton Associates. The firm says the name was

suggested by a "significant number of our own people," and it performed best internationally in terms of its linguistic acceptability and ease of pronunciation. The change will go into effect later this year.
