Rory Wilfong, 36

Co-founder, chief operating officer WebXtreme Inc. Lancaster, Lancaster County

Rory Wilfong has been a successful entrepreneur for more than 10 years, and he shows no sign of slowing his pace.

Wilfong, the co-founder of WebXtreme, an online businessdevelopment company, launched his first business in 1995 when he co-owned and operated Party Time Disc Jockeys, Entertainment and Video Production Co. He sold that company in 2000 and began his career in real estate, which led him to his passion for sales. As a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Home Sale Group and Remax Associates of Lancaster, Wilfong consistently led his team in sales. At Remax, he received performance awards in each of the four years he worked there. In May 2005, Wilfong launched his second venture, Performance Realty Services, which consisted of three divisions covering sales, mortgages and settlement services. He still co-owns that business.

As a successful real estate agent, Wilfong recognized the opportunity of using the Internet to generate new leads through online home-valuation sites. Along with fellow real estate agent Dave Conklin and mortgage broker Steve Young, Wilfong came up with an idea to establish a base of real estate professionals nationwide through leads produced from a Web site, which they dubbed GetMyHomesValue.com The trio launched their new business, WebXtreme, in December 2003.

The success of GetMyHomesVaIue.com spurred the development of two similar sites, NationalAgentDirectory.com, a resource for consumers, and GetTheLowestRate.com, which offers users the ability to shop lenders for the lowest interest rates on various loans. The company continues to grow, now offering such sites as QuiltsByAmish.com, ZipCodeGuy.com and Socialmarks.com.

Wilfong, who is known by colleagues as "chief motivational officer" of his companies, believes in empowering his staff to reach their full potential through play and spontaneity and by pursuing their own complementary interests and talents.
