Worth A Visit - Firefox

If you´re anything like me then you probably spend a lot of time on the internet. I use it constantly, not just to do most of my work, but also for recreation and research. There are a whole lot of things I would give up well before I would ever consider giving up the good old world wide web. Because we spend so much time using the internet, it only makes sense that we should use software that is as productive as it can possibly be. With that, if you aren´t already a user of the Firefox browser, you should check it out immediately. It is definitely worth a visit.

If you´re not familiar with Firefox, it is a browser like Internet Explorer, only about a million times better. And it´s free, too, so there´s no reason not to give it a try. There are so many reasons why it is better than Internet Explorer as a productivity tool, but here are a couple:

1) Tabbed browsing — I often need to have 8 or 10 windows open at the same time because I am working on a bunch of projects at the same time, or I want to be able to refer to several different sites at once. If you do that with Internet Explorer you have to have several different pages open and it is hard to navigate around and it messes up your desktop. In Firefox, each new page is opened up as a tab within a single page. Much cleaner and easier, and much, much faster to move between different web pages.

2) It has a pop-up blocker which actually works. It blocks stuff you want to have blocked and doesn´t block things you obviously want to be able to see. It´s a much smarter piece of software, in other words.

3) You can customize it — There are all sorts of plug-ins and extensions that you can add into your Firefox browser so that it does things that you want it to be able to do. The plug-ins are free and are developed by developers around the world, so chances are pretty good that you can find a plug-in that solves any problem you have. It lets you create a piece of software that responds specifically to your needs. Obviously that makes you much more productive.

You can download Firefox here and give it a try. If you´re like me, you´ll never go back.

Hello T.O: Thanks for your insightful review of Firefox browser. I have seen so many websites with ads to download Firefox but never gave it a second thought. Now that you have mentioned some good reasons to try it, I may give it a chance. You're an interesting writer, keep it up. Home loans Guy http://www.geocities.com/cashfreedom2/sitemap.htm ...
