AIRS, an online recruitment training and information resource, has developed and launched a new series of online outplacement services. These Internet-based career portals for individual employers include job search information, training, tools and support services. These new portals also allow companies to offer a wide range of self-service outplacement resources to their workforce at a fraction of the cost of traditional outplacement services. With a career portal, an employer can offer departing employees a set of job-search tools that include a web-based resume distribution system and a comprehensive job search and research library.
