Centex Construction's Fort Worth office announces the topping out of the $65-million Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. This new 375,000-square-foot health care complex will serve the southern region of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex through two buildings on a 28-acre campus. A six-story hospital,

with one level below grade, is being constructed on a greenfield site and will house 80 private rooms with future expansion capabilities to 152 beds. Additionally, a five-story, 90,000-square-foot medical office building is being constructed and will feature specialized services, such as oncology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, pulmonology, and cardiology.

Shannon Arnold, vice president of Centex Construction, stated, "The construction of this new medical facility is important to residents in Mansfield and surrounding areas. Currently, residents have to drive to major cities in order to receive advanced medical care and treatment. As a Mansfield resident myself, it means a great deal to know my family can receive great medical care in our town."

Centex Construction hosted a topping out ceremony on January 6 at the project construction site for Methodist Health System dignitaries, subcontractors, vendors, and other industry partners involved in the construction of medical complex.
