Talks on Nursing Home Site Continue in Edwardsville, Ill.

Oct. 30--Discussions continue between Edwardsville and its still unnamed developer, suspected to be Dierbergs, for property that formerly belonged to Madison County.
"I am embarrassed to say it is taking longer than I anticipated," said Ben Dickmann, city administrator. "Significant progress has been made, and I remain very enthusiastic about the development."
In April, only one developer submitted a proposal to the city to develop the old Madiso
