Good Samaritan Hospital in 100th year.(Brief Article)

On Nov. 12, 1902, when the hospital opened its doors for the first time, it offered all of seven beds. Now celebrating its 100th year, Rockland County's Good Samaritan Hospital is a 370-bed tertiary care facility.

"It's a very modern hospital with very modem technology, but the mission is the same," said Ann Lombardi-Nathan, the hospital's director of public relations. "Our mission is to care, to provide help for those in need."

Over the years, the hospital has endured many changes, both outside and inside its walls as it has grown to serve more and more are
