Lancaster County, S.C., Outpatient Surgery Center Gets Green Light.

Jan. 24--After much deliberation, state regulators gave the green light on Friday to a Springs Memorial Hospital proposal to build an outpatient surgery center in the Lancaster County panhandle.

The Springs project, Carolina Surgery Center, was one of two such centers proposed for the Indian Land area. The other project, SouthCross Surgery Center, was being proposed by a group of 45 physicians from both Carolinas, in cooperation with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Syst
