Regional Hospital Network Standardizes to Gain Operational Efficiency
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Sunquest Information Systems, Inc., a market leader in laboratory information systems, today announced that TriCore Reference Laboratories has purchased the Sunquest Laboratory Information System (LIS)
New Mexico's largest medical reference laboratory, TriCore provides laboratory services to physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and companies that conduct workplace drug testing throughout New Mexico, eastern Arizona, southern Colorado, and west Texas. TriCore also uses Sunquest Clinical Financial, Blood Bank, Collection Manager, and Encompass.
"In 2007, TriCore assumed management of Presbyterian's regional rural hospital laboratories. We are deploying Sunquest LIS to help us achieve efficiencies and cost reductions, while we continue to deliver high quality test results," said Erv Klink, Ph.D., Chief Information Officer for TriCore Reference Laboratories.
