CNA MENTORING PROGRAM.

Frontline Publishing has published The Care Works Mentoring Program, a state-of-the-art certified nursing assistant (CNA) staffing solution for long-term care facilities. The program is designed to reduce turnover during the first critical 90 days of employment by training existing staff to share their experience and expertise with new hires.

The program includes an Implementation Guide and six training units for CNA peer mentors, based on a national best practices study. Topics include units on adult learning, team leadership, communication skills and helping the new CNA manage work-related stress.
