One hundred exhibitors will display their healthcare products and services at the 1990 Idea Exchange Exhibit Show. The exhibit will be held during HFMA's National Convention/ANI, June 24-28 in San Diego, Calif.
Among the products and services on display will be collection and accounts
Other exhibits will include management information systems; healthcare publications; tax audit and valuation consulting; business office and patient accounts consulting; and computer hardware and software.
"The Idea Exchange offers convention attendees the opportunity to learn about new products and services available in the industry in one relaxed, informal setting," said Albert J. Sunseri, PhD, HFMA's vice president of education and member services.
'Evaluations from convention attendees indicate that the informal networking events such as the Idea Exchange are a very valuable aspect of the convention," he said. "Nearly 30 percent of post-convention survey participants said that the Idea Exchange is the most valuable networking opportunity to them. In addition, almost 60 percent of the survey respondents indicated that during the next year they would need to purchase at least one of the products or services that were displayed at the show."
The Idea Exchange will be open for 10-1/2 hours over three days. The exhibit show will be the site for two receptions and two luncheons, allowing attendees to meet with exhibitors at their leisure, Sunseri said.
In addition to industry exhibitors, the show will include the Idea Exchange Bookstore, which features information on HFMA's products, services, and publications. Sunseri said visitors will be able to receive information on Hospital Data-Plus services, membership, professional certification, 1990 fall education programs, gifts and awards merchandise, books and publications, and audio and video cassette programs.
