Using Technology To Learn About Franchising

Friday, June 13 2008

There are a lot of places to learn about the world of franchising, and small business. The internet is hands-down the most popular, but the way that the internet can be utilized  still involves, radio, television and print media.

If you don’t have time to sit at your desk and read interesting articles about franchising, for instance, you can find ways to utilize technology to read, watch, or listen, at your leisure. One way to do so is by putting on some small, comfortable ear buds, and listening to radio and television interviews on your favorite topics via podcast. Podcasts are named after a neat little invention called the ipod, in which millions upon millions have been sold. {Not only did Apple start a whole new way of listening to things like interviews, articles, and music, but it also helped hundreds of small companies start businesses of their own, selling accessories for these little gizmos.}

Would you like to listen to an entire library of radio interviews, archived by topic? Interested in learning about small business topics like franchising, whenever you want? I am part of an exclusive group of small business experts called “The Brain Trust.” Jim Blasingames’s “Brain Trust.” Jim’s nationally syndicated radio program, The Small Business Advocate, features small business experts that are interviewed about topics such as investing, economic trends, tax strategy, entrepreneurship, and other important small business topics.  Here is the link to the entire archive of interviews about franchising. Enjoy them at your leisure!

Jim will be on MSNBC’s “Your Business“, hosted by JJ Ramberg, this Sunday at 7:30AM EST. If you watch the show, you will see why Jim has been called one of the top 25 small business experts in the world. {If you have a DVR, you can of course record that too…and watch it when you wake up…} There is also a podcast version.
