Make incompetents competent
Enjoyed Jane Gaboury's editorial about being as different from each other on the inside as we are on the outside ("Thinking eye to eye," February). I believe most of us at one time or another have used our own criteria besides textbooks for determining if a person was an introvert, an extrovert, or neither.
After a few years in management consulting and finding myself in the unfavorable position of misjudging the attributes of client personnel, I threw away my textbooks on the subject and relied on verified experiences.
