Campbell-Ewald lays off 50-100 employees
Warren-based Campbell-Ewald Co. has laid off between 50 and 100 of its 1,370-employee work force as part of a recent company restructuring, industry sources said.
Gary Iott, corporate communications supervisor, declined to provide the number of jobs cut; the estimate of 50-100 comes from ad industry executives who spoke with Crain's and sister publication Advertising Age.
A statement from Anthony Hopp, chairman and CEO of Campbell-Ewald, said the layoffs stemmed from clients' expected business next year. <
