Salt Lake City International Airport expects smooth sledding when the city hosts the upcoming 2002 Winter Olympics

Salt Lake City International Airport is ready. For the past several years airport officials have been working out a game plan and shaping up a program to accommodate the tens of thousands of athletes, coaches, trainers, judges, official delegations and just plain spectators who will descend on Utah for the Winter Olympic Games Feb. 8-24.

Last year an estimated 20 million travelers passed through the airport, which is served by 11 carriers operati
