Senate Environment Committee Chairman Jim Jeffords, I-Vt., is urging the Bush administration to consider proposals to reduce carbon dioxide emissions as he moves forward with his bill to cut emissions [CO.sub.2], mercury, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide from power plants.
