Paul Locigno, the CEO of Ganeden Biotech announced the appointment of Frank X. Braun, retired Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel as Vice President of its newly formed

Military and Federal Programs Group. Lt. Col (ret) Braun will head the working group responsible for Ganeden's Military and Federal Programs. Braun has a wide depth of 23 years experience in leadership and management positions involving market development, contract oversight, requirement analysis, and acquisition and procurement within military and federal agencies and in the private sector. Mr. Braun will be based in the Company's northern Virginia location.

Braun's military service includes: Director of International Programs, Marine Corps Systems Command; and Program Officer, Program Information Branch of Marine Corps Research, Development & Acquisition Command. Brauns' distinguished military service also included tours of duty as Commanding Officer of Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station, Tustin, CA. and Chief Aircraft Maintenance Officer for the Squadron. His private sector experience encompasses market/sales development, federal contact award and oversight, and executive level consulting for requirement analysis and procurement.

Braun is a graduate of U.S. Defense Systems Management College, Ft. Belvoir, Va., and has a M.A. in Management from Webster University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Mississippi.
