Census,which shows that numbers for Hispanics
are
roughly equal to that of African Americans, which The
Washington Post(1) calls "a demographic shift that has
broad implications for politics and culture at the
beginning of the millennium."
Specifically, Price can speak to how this change
will herald a shift in politics and priorities,
encouraging African Americans to focus more than
ever before on fundamentals, such as quality
education, good jobs, homeownership,
entrepreneurship and wealth creation. In addition,
Price can address the increased need for African
Americans to coalesce to increase their clout and
use their political leverage.
