Nation's Oldest Air Charter Management Company Brings

24 Years of Experience to the Table When Representing

U.S. Commercial Air Carriers to the U.S. Government

A New Mexico-based

air charter company is helping bring soldiers home. The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) has contracted with 11 commercial airlines through CSI Aviation Services d/b/a Charter Services (CSI) for American troop and equipment transportation.

CSI has offered military air charter services since 1983. Since that time, the DOD has often relied on military charters of commercial airlines to reinforce the existing military air transportation system.

CSI is the nation's oldest and largest air charter management company of its kind, and represents 11 air carriers to the DOD including: American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Horizon Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Falcon Airlines, Pan Am Airlines, Midwest Airlines, Planet Airways, and US Airways.

CSI's Military Services agreement also names CSI as an official contract manager for DOD military air charter contracts and as a provider of consultation and assistance for DOD charter aircraft inspections and certifications.

As the representative for these airlines, CSI assists in the deployment and redeployment of thousands of military personnel throughout the United States. In addition to its domestic coordination, CSI arranges aircraft for military charters that transport soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines throughout the world.

"CSI is proud to serve the Department of Defense," said CSI CEO Allen Weh. "CSI's extensive experience in charter aircraft logistics and management qualifies us to provide the highest level of service to the U.S. military and to the country."

CSI has a long history of reliability and efficiency that translates easily from commercial to military travel -- in addition to coordinating major troop movements by U.S. air carriers, it also manages smaller military group movements that travel scheduled service on U.S. airlines. As troops rotate in and out of the United States, CSI stands ready to coordinate their deployment and redeployment.

Founded in 1979, CSI has long established relationships with numerous airlines and Part 135 operators, with access to more than 5,000 aircraft and the ability to support customer requirements ranging from one person to large groups requiring multiple aircraft.
