Helping U.S. government agencies to meet new federal compliance mandates and satisfy Office of Management & Budget (OMB) audits, BindView Corp. (Nasdaq:BVEW) today announced the release of BindView Report Packs for FISMA, a security and vulnerability management reporting solution to help government agencies comply with the Federal Information Security Act of 2002 (FISMA). FISMA places significant requirements on federal agencies for the defense-in-depth protection of their information systems. To comply with the mandate, federal agencies must develop, document and implement a department-wide information security program, then demonstrate the effectiveness of their risk assessment and response strategy through independent audits and evaluations.
