The National Nuclear Security Administration ("NNSA") recently awarded BWXT Y-12 a five-year contract extension to manage and operate the Y-12 National Security Complex. "I appreciate the confidence that the NNSA has shown in awarding us the extension. We look forward to another five years of success at Y-12 and I am confident that the change in personnel will have no influence on the facility's operations. Significant transformation of the Y-12 site has occurred under BWXT's management, of which, Denny Ruddy was a part. BWXT has established high expectations for furthering this progress over the next five years," said Fees. BWXT is working closely with the DOE, NNSA and Bechtel to guarantee a successful transition in management.
