Astronaut Families Urge NASA to Heed Board's Suggestions, Delay Next Launch.

Aug. 27--Skimming through the Gehman report, Jon Clark realized Tuesday that NASA's plans to resume shuttle flights by this spring are unrealistic and a setup for failure.

"There is no reason to rush into this," said Clark, a flight surgeon for NASA whose wife, Laurel, was among the seven astronauts killed when the Columbia broke apart Feb. 1. "Nobody I know of at NASA believes we can have that launch date and abide by the intent that's une...uivocal in that report."
