Atlanta Arenas Lack Fire Permits.

May 12--Philips Arena and Chastain Park Amphitheatre, two popular Atlanta sports and entertainment venues, have had only sporadic fire safety inspections over the years and never have been issued fire safety permits, Atlanta Fire Department records show.

The Fire Department launched full inspections of the two venues on April 23, the day after The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported a similar lack of safety enforcement by city fire inspectors at Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Bra
