Dec. 24--METROPOLIS, Ill.--The Honeywell nuclear fuel processing plant will not resume uranium hexafluoride (UF6) production for at least a week as company and federal officials investigate the cause of a leak Monday morning.
Company spokesman Mark McPhee said all scheduled workers reported to the plant Tuesday and were expected to continue doing so as the investigation continued.
