IN ST. PETERSBURG THE 2ND WORLD CONGRESS OF COMPATRIOTS HAS TAKEN PLACE
ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Oct 31, 2006 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- About 600 representatives from 103 countries of the world took part in the congress. In particular, the program of the immigration of the compatriots from the countries of CIS and Baltia into Russia, approved in June, was being discussed. The program implies hasten naturalization procedure, compensation for resettlement and payments of traveling allowance at the expenses of the Federal budget.
