Manufacturing Purchasing Plummets Again in May.

Jul. 16--Sales of metal-forming and metal-cutting machines -- used to manufacture everything from eyelets to automobiles -- fell again in May, continuing lows not seen in decades, according to monthly data released by two manufacturing trade associations.
