Council OKs $44.4M to aid schools.

Feb. 21--The Montgomery City Council has put the last piece of the puzzle in place for a massive school construction project.
The council unanimously approved a $44.4 million bond that will go toward the first phase of the biggest overhaul of Montgomery Public Schools buildings in the city's history.
The vote was met with applause from the audience, which included members of the Montgomery County Board of Education.
