Golf launches growth for region.

May 14--PRATTVILLE, Ala. -- The greens of the Robert Trent Jones golf course produce plenty of green for Prattville, creating an economic boom that contributes to business expansion and the city's coffers.

Capitol Hill opened its first of three golf courses in May of 1998. Course officials expect 82,000 rounds to be played this year. Named the Senator, Judge and Legislator, the courses jump-started a tourism industry in Prattville that is spilling over to the rest of central Alabama.
