WHAT: West Hollywood Mayor Pro Tempore Sal Guarriello will be
awarded the 41st Annual Older Americans Recognition Day Award
for "Outstanding Community Service" by the L.A. County Board
of Supervisors, Los Angeles County Commission on Aging
(LACCOA)
and the Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging.
Mayor Pro Tempore Guarriello will be honored for his
outstanding community service, and his commitment to
enhancing the quality of life for those in need. Mayor Pro
Tem Guarriello has served on the West Hollywood City Council
since 1990 and served as Mayor three times. His long time
service to the City of West Hollywood is well known
throughout the County.
LACCOA Commissioners Cindy Skovgard and Susan Ng, Co-Chairs
of the 41st Annual Older Americans Recognition Day Awards,
announced that Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D.
Antonovich will present the Older Americans Month
proclamation to LACCOA at the event. Supervisors Don Knabe,
Gloria Molina, Yvonne Burke and Zev Yaroslavky have also been
invited to personally present awards to the honorees in their
respective Supervisorial districts.
