Bonnabel Boulevard lanes to close Saturday for construction

Alternate southbound lanes of Bonnabel Boulevard between Veterans Boulevard and Demosthenes Street will close from 7 a.m to 5:30 p.m. Saturday so that contractors can lift a dip in the roadway, Jefferson Parish government said.

One southbound lane will remain open at all times.

USA is performing the work at an estimated cost of $12,000.

The project is expected to be completed Saturday, barring any unforeseen contractor's delay and weather permitting, the parish said.
