Aug. 10--A coalition led by the League of Women Voters is pushing for a two-year, $3 million study that would find ways to improve public transit in Fresno County.
The study calls for an independent research firm to examine Fresno County's public transportation system with the goal of making it more practical and accessible to commuters.
The Coalition for Livable Fresno County Communities hopes its findings could contribute to a 2006 proposal to extend Measure C,
