Jul. 12--A key building in downtown Chattanooga's central business district is undergoing a revamp as developers and city planners sharpen the focus on reviving the heart of the area.
"We think retail will rebound in the central city, particularly service types of businesses," said Mike McGauley, a partner in MFD Properties, which is pouring about $200,000 in improvements into the former Waldenbooks building at Market and Seventh streets.
