Dam Preservation Group Asks Berks County, Pa., Officials for support.

Jan. 30--A representative of the Felix Dam Preservation Association asked the Berks County commissioners Tuesday to support the group's efforts to restore the Muhlenberg Township dam that was destroyed in 1999.

Carl J. Engleman Jr., an attorney representing the association, said the commissioners would not be asked to contribute money to the $1.6 million to $1.8 million needed to restore the dam on the Schuylkill River.

But an endorsement by the commissioners would help
