FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2004

STG, Inc., a leading provider of information technology (IT), homeland security, engineering, and scientific services support to the U.S. Federal government, announced that STG will move 200 employees

to its new corporate headquarters at 11710 Plaza America Drive in Reston, VA. Grubb and Ellis represented STG in governing a multi-year lease of a 66,000 square foot section of the building on the top three floors, enabling a significant expansion of corporate facilities.

Phil Foote, Chief Operating Officer, explained, "After three acquisitions and business expansion of several new contracts, the need to consolidate our infrastructure and provide an environment for employees that is conducive to their professional well-being became a top priority for us. In addition, we have several quality assurance objectives, such as CMMI Level 3, that will benefit from a unified environment thereby enhancing the level of performance-based results for our clients."

The new headquarters offers a convenient location to clients, employees, and partners, with easy access to commuter arteries and airports in the Washington metropolitan area. STG will have prominent signage on the west facade of the building overlooking the Dulles Toll Road.

"Our new headquarters office in Reston will allow us to accomplish an important operational and cultural objective of consolidating our team under one roof, with room for expansion," said Simon Lee, President and CEO of STG. "After searching for more than 2 years throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland, analyzing nearly 20 different locations, we unanimously decided that the Plaza America facility offered the best solution. We are also pleased to continue to be headquartered in the Commonwealth and Fairfax County."

Virginia Governor Mark R. Warner said, "It is great news for Virginia that STG has found a new headquarters and is staying in Fairfax County. We are honored to have this cutting-edge technology company - with an incredible leader, Simon Lee, at the helm - here in the Commonwealth. When I announced the company's plans to expand in November 2002, I had every confidence that Simon and STG would continue to build on their record of success."

Gerald E. Connolly, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors said, "Simon Lee has built a dynamic company that takes advantage of Fairfax County's many assets. I am delighted that STG will continue to thrive and grow here in the County."

In the year following the move, the company plans to increase its staff to 2,000 with many of those employees coming from Virginia.
