Texas Law on Jobless Training Comes under Fire.

Aug. 28--Government contracting giant Affiliated Computer Services Inc. is seeking to overturn a new state law that makes it easier for local work force development boards to switch to a cheaper provider for job training and other services.

ACS has contracts with 11 of the 28 state-funded work force development boards across Texas, but lost two others last year, including one with the Greater Austin Workforce Board, known as WorkSource.
