Apr. 5--The first magazine with a focus on Rio Grande Valley women is on newsstands this month.
Rio Grande Valley Woman, launched its March-April inaugural edition last week, with Dr. Sylvia Hatton, executive director for Region One, on its cover.
"This is the first magazine that targets professional women in the Rio Grande Valley," said Celeste Guzman Mendoza, the magazine's managing editor.
