High-Tech Education Center Opens in North Philadelphia.

Apr. 7--On a formerly drug-devastated North Philadelphia street, today's opening of the $13.5-million Honickman Learning Center and Comcast Technology Labs is an urban miracle in a season of renewal and rebirth.

Hundreds of neighborhood children from kindergarten through high school, whose main concern used to be surviving childhood, will spend after-school hours enriching it in a 38,000 square foot, high-tech haven on N. Judson near W. Berks streets with:
