Oct. 13--JERUSALEM--After several days of political disarray, Palestinian officials agreed Sunday that an emergency Cabinet installed last week by Yasser Arafat would serve out its 30-day term and then be replaced by a broader Cabinet to be approved by Parliament.
But Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia suggested that he may not lead the next Cabinet, raising the prospect of a renewed political crisis that would further set back the American-backed peace plan known as the "road map."
