Court seeks works of art.

The Supreme Court of Florida is now accepting applications for visual arts exhibitions as part of its Arts in the Court program.

Arts in the Courts is designed to showcase Florida artists and arts organizations, according to the program's Sandy Shaughnessy.

An Arts in the Courts committee was created in 1996, to help carry out the court's policy "that courts should be a place where communities come together to appreciate the artistic achievements of Florida's residents, including both musical and the visual arts."
