Political and religious leaders joined hundreds of members of the diamond industry on January 21 in the rough diamond trading hall of the Israel Diamond Exchange, for a ceremony at which the entire Ramat Gan diamond complex was named in honor of Moshe Schnitzer, the chairman of the Israel Diamond Institute, and the former president of the Israel Diamond Exchange and the World Federation of Diamond Bourses. From now on, the section of the Ramat Gan central business district will be called Kiryat Moshe Schnitzer.
