NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 2002

Blue Flame Marketing and Advertising, a lifestyle marketing company, led by CEO Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, announced results today of a national survey of 956 urban Americans, detailing their views on the upcoming war with Iraq.

The survey was conducted on October 28 & 29 via phone interviews.

WAR WILL LAST A YEAR AND A HALF

In response to the question, "How long do you think a war against Iraq would last?" the average response was 18.65 months. Female respondents believe the war would last 22 months, and males believe it would last over 14 months.

34.4% of respondents believe Saddam Hussein poses an "extreme danger" to the United States, 37.9% believes he poses "serious danger", 23.3% believe he poses "moderate danger", and 4.3% believe Saddam poses "minimal to no danger" to the United States.

PRESIDENT BUSH'S HANDLING AND MOTIVATIONS

In response to the question "Which of the following do you feel best describes President Bush's motivations for a War with Iraq?" 26.7% of respondents said "To prevent Iraq from developing weapons of mass destruction", 19.5% said "To control Iraqi oil", 18.7% said "To cripple Iraq's support of terrorism", 12% said "Iraqi President Hussein tried to have President Bush Sr. assassinated,", and 10.6 % said "The prospect of War with Iraq helps boost political fundraising."

7.9% of respondents "strongly agree" that President Bush's policy on Iraq is clear, 28.8% "agree", 20.5% "disagree", and 22.5% "strongly disagree".

DO YOU SUPPORT A WAR...? SINCE SADDAM IS SO EVIL

Only 12.9% of respondents said that they "strongly support a U.S. invasion of Iraq", despite the fact that over 95% believe Saddam poses a danger to the U.S. 42.5% of respondents opposed a war with Iraq, while 28.1% were undecided.

In response to the question "Would you support a U.S. invasion even if it meant heavy U.S. casualties?", only 2.7% "strongly agreed" with that statement, 17.4% "agreed", 27.9% "disagreed", and 33.8% "strongly disagreed."

"With the impending war on Iraq, urban Americans are clearly anticipating a lengthy battle, and feel strongly that Saddam Hussein poses a grave danger," said Jameel Spencer, President/Partner of Blue Flame Marketing. "It is interesting to note that while the youth of today recognize the dangers of Iraq, many of them oppose a U.S. invasion."
