Connecticut Governor Looks to Further Hospital Plan with Health-Care Appointee.

Nov. 15--Gov. John G. Rowland's top aide said Friday the governor plans to fill a key health-care post with a candidate who shares his opinion that more hospitals should be allowed to perform cardiac surgery, improving the odds that Waterbury and St. Mary's hospitals will win permission to offer such services.
