PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local OLTCHIM recently awarded 2 plant construction contracts to Germany-based BALCKE-DURR. According to the terms of the awards, the German company will be responsible for the provision of a phthalic anhydride plant with an installed production capacity of 22,000,000 metric tons per year (mt/y). In addition, BALCKE-DUR will also supply a 30,000 mt/y plasticisers unit.
