RADM Jack F. Pearse, SC, USNR (Ret.), of Hillsborough. Calif., died on Jan. 27, 2003. In 1941 he joined the U.S. Navy Reserve serving for 33 years. A veteran of World War II he retired after 33 years of service. His last assignment was with Chief of Naval Reserve, New Orleans, La. He is survived by his wife Helen Earle; daughter Marin (Tom) Goldt; son, Kent Pearse; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There was a reception in RADM Pearse's honor on Saturday, Feb, 1, in Burlingame, Calif. Donations may be made to the Peninsula Humane Society, 12 Airport Blvd., San Mateo
