HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 2000

Harold Lee, formerly the director of tax administration

for the State of Texas, recently joined DuCharme, McMillen & Associates (DMA) as director of practice development.

DMA is one of the largest state and local tax consulting firms in the nation. The professional services company employs more than 200 professionals with 19 offices in major cities across the United States and represents many Fortune 500 and other large companies.

Lee's responsibilities at DMA include client representation before state tax authorities, strategic tax minimization planning, audit defense, and client quality assurance. Lee will work from DMA's Houston office.

"Nearly 30 years of providing leadership regarding the financial affairs for the State of Texas taught me a great deal," Lee said. While on staff with the State of Texas, Lee oversaw the Audit, Enforcement, Tax Policy and Property Tax Divisions.
