Marvin Fisher has joined Carter & Burgess as a program manager for Building Programs in Fort Worth. Fisher will support the firm in program management, financial planning, land development planning, facility operations, and contingency engineering for national Air Force contracts.

Fisher

comes to Carter & Burgess after a 25-year career in the United States Air Force, retiring as a colonel and one of the senior leaders in the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Department. Fisher's last assignment was as command civil engineer and deputy director of installations and mission support for the Air Force Space Command headquarters at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. He has also served as director for the Programs Division of the Office of the Civil Engineer at the U.S. Air Force headquarters. Among his accomplishments, Fisher managed the development and execution of a $580-million redevelopment plan for Aviano Air Base in Italy.

Fisher earned a Bachekor of Science degree in civil engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1981, and later earned Master of Science degrees in engineering management and national resource strategies from the Air Force Institute of Technology and the National Defense University respectively.
