The event is cosponsored by Colorado Hillel and the CU student group EMET. EMET is a student group at the University of Colorado at Boulder. EMET stands for Education, the Middle East and Truth, and "emet" means truth in Hebrew. This organization is dedicated to presenting a full, fair and clear exposition of historical and current events affecting Israel and its relationships with its Arab neighbors, encouraging and fostering a public dialogue based on education, truth and the pursuit of peace. The student group's goal is to challenge the CU-Boulder community to develop an in-depth understanding of the issues which concern Israel and its surrounding states, delivering a message of peace and coexistence.
