High-Level Executives from Defense, Security & Military Suppliers Will Join Christopher Darby of In-Q-Tel in Interactive Panel Discussion on "Sensing the Future"

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Advisory board members for the fuse2007 business and technology conference announced today

that Christopher Darby, CEO of In-Q-Tel, the strategic investment firm that supports the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the broader U.S. Intelligence Community, will join the speaking roster for fuse2007, which is scheduled to be held October 9-10 at the Oncenter Complex in downtown Syracuse. Darby will participate in the Wednesday, October 10th interactive panel titled "Defense Technologies/Security: Sensing the Future." He will also deliver one of the fuse2007 keynote speeches.

Joining Darby in this interactive panel discussion on defense, security and military technologies will be:

Upon joining In-Q-Tel, Darby brought years of expertise in leading and managing venture capital-funded start-ups, with technical experience in hardware, software, telecommunications and semiconductors.

In addition to his career in technology development and leadership, Mr. Darby contributed his expertise to the government in the wake of 9/11 as an advisor to the formation of the Department of Homeland Security. He was formerly Vice Chairman of the Center for Advanced Defense Studies in Washington, D.C., and graduated from the University of Western Ontario.
